Writing Buttons has been one of my life's greatest accomplishments and having the opportunity to not only share my literature but to do so amongst strong women, is an absolute honor.

Many thanks to our friends at @everykindalady. It was an absolute honor for our founder, LaResse Harvey, to receive the Every Kinda Lady Book Award! Harvey’s autobiographical narrative, Button’s Journey depicts a personal chronicle of triumph over sexual assault and PTSD recovery.

This project was created by Barbara McClane of Barkel McClane Photography in 2019. The “I Am Woman” project's mission is to creatively impact, capture, and connect women through positive images and empowering messaging. I am a Modern Day Rosie!
